Summer is here at last. Arthur has sheared the sheep and the lambs are weaned. The ewes are putting on condition and we have started to strip graze the stubble turnips that we planted earlier in the year.

Gill's veg plot is producing endless supplied of salad leaves, beens, peas and beetroot. The plums, damsons and soft fruit are coming on well so we should be busy making jam before long.

Our stock of bacon and sausages have been replenished with the departure of the last two Berkshire pigs.

This seasons lambs are nearly ready. If you are interested in a lamb box please contact me for more detials, james@panniersfarm.co.uk
