Lambing

Lambing has got off to a great start this year with seven lambs born in the first week - five one Thursday afternoon which kept us busy.

The births went pretty smoothly with the twins needing a small amount of assistance. The lambs have weighed in between 3.14kg and a whopping 7.52kg (pictured bottom left).

In total 17 lambs were born with Esme our Suffolk Texel cross lambing last with twins but deciding she only wanted one lamb. So Kathryn's wish to have a lamb to bottle feed has come true.
